We are looking for a candidate who is excited by the challenge of working in an industry that is going through considerable change with the electrification of vehicles. The successful candidate should have commercial experience in C# and modern JavaScript technologies.

Junior C++ Dev, High Wycombe, UK

We're looking for forward-thinking and open-minded C++ software developers to join our software team. If you've used any RedNet, Scarlett or Launchpad products before, you'll know we love to innovate. You'll be given the opportunity to design and create the software that brings our industry-leading interfaces and music-making tools to life, and devise long-term software strategies for future products.

You'll work in an Agile team, iterating and learning quickly in response to user feedback. Modern software development practices such as: test-driven development, user-centred design, peer reviews, continuous integration and pair programming will be an important part of your daily routine. You'll be working with distributed version control systems based on the GitLab Flow branching model. You will have the opportunity to develop new skills while helping others develop theirs by assessing new technologies and contributing to team best practices.

Backend Dev, London, UK

As a keen developer and music lover, you want to help us build a robust platform to bring music production into the connected world. Maintainability, testing, clean code and continuous delivery are core to your work ethic.

Our API currently powers three of the world's most successful iOS music making apps (Launchpad, Groovebox and Blocs Wave) as well as the ground breaking Ampify Studio desktop music app, in conjunction with a powerful backend library of sounds. We need someone to help scale our platform's capabilities to cater for our fast growing user base.

You will actively participate in the development of our API, mostly Javascript/Typescript backed by a PostgreSQL database. This will involve working with a wide range of technologies across the web stack from designing our REST API, maintaining our cloud infrastructure, database design and internal tools to help the content team manage the catalogue.

Your role

  • Delivering clean code and well tested features to improve the Ampify platform
  • Reviewing pull requests from other team members.
  • Helping with the design of a scalable and secure platform.

Software Developer (DevOps), London, UK

You're a keen "cloud native" developer and passionate music lover. You want to join a team of passionate developers from a variety of technical backgrounds to help bring music production into the modern connected world.

You know how to build secure, scalable and robust platforms. Maintainability, automation, testing, clean code and continuous delivery are core to your work ethic. You have experience maintaining and automating the deployment of infrastructure on the AWS platform and delivering features in at least one programming language.

Your role

Our API currently powers a portfolio of music production apps on the iOS, Windows and MacOS platforms. The infrastructure is responsible for delivering a catalogue of high-quality sounds. Your role will focus on the following key areas:

  • Scaling our platform's capabilities to cater for our fast-growing user base.
  • Keeping our platform secure
  • Helping the rest of the development team iterate on software quickly keeping our CI builds fast.
  • Using modern tools, you'll help maintain infrastructure primarily using the AWS Serverless stack, and other managed AWS services

You will actively participate in the development of our API and help us steer in the right direction. You will provide input on existing and future designs from a systems perspective, focusing on high availability, security, monitoring and more.
